Deliverance ministries have different approaches but we believe that the Holy Spirit must direct each deliverance ministry session with our clients. Some people tend to be fearful of deliverance because of misunderstandings or abuses they have seen. Because of the teaching, client homework and preparation, we find that the process flows very smoothly so we encourage our clients to not be fearful!
Session 1: Interview - Issues/behaviors that the client wants addressed
o Understanding of client background and family history. (unless previously gathered in the Counseling Module)
o Two interview sessions are scheduled for couples.
Session 2: Teaching - joint session for couples
o “Entry Points for Demonic Torment”
o “Demonic Strongholds List” and “Entry Points” list
o Receive Morning & Evening Declarations/Prayers handouts
Session 3: Teaching - joint session for couples
o “How to Prepare for the Deliverance Prayer Session”
Session 4: Personal Deliverance Prayer
o Typically a two hour session
o Individual, personal prayer
o Spouses/couples are prayed for separately (hence, two sessions).
Session 5: Teaching - joint session for couples
o “Staying on the Narrow Road to Life”
In summary, the deliverance ministry process typically comprises five (5) sessions for individuals and seven (7) for couples. Many clients then opt to continue with the Sanctification phase of the CDS Process, which typically involves explaining temperament analysis and administration of the NCCA's Arno Profile System.
